I am constantly thinking at the pace of lightspeed,
This leads me to thought overflow,
Flash floods of assumptions,
I can read people
But not deep enough to carry all my jumps to conclusions,

I am a part-time optimist,
With one eye on the negative,
Years with dissapointment have taught me,
That that guy is like Kramer,
Always barging in,

I am hilarious,
Especially at the worst times,
I don't know yet,
But something tells me I'll laugh at my own funeral.
